I just came across this site, searching for more info about reading comics and automatically learn reading. I’m having a presentation this wednesday on this subject with a c0-student, we use our own experience seeing our sons becoming good readers by reading Donald Duck day in day out. We didn’t do anything (the boys go to a democratic school) they’ve learned themselves in half a year. It’s great… Thank you for your interesting story! Janneke

Yay, Chris! Thanks for putting all these great comics together for us! I had no idea the 9-11 Commission released the graphic novel ALONG WITH its report… That’s a great sign of the enormous cultural shift that’s taking place in North American cultural attitudes towards comics.
