It was a wonderful surprise to see that these other parents are receiving the recognition they deserve!
I just finished my book entitled: Aunts and Uncles - The Other Parents. It is awaiting edits and formatting at this time. I am listing excerpts from each of the six chapters, weekly. My work is a narrative that chronicles my life with my Italian aunts and uncles during the 1950s to the 1990s and is very easy reading. Although I had a total of 25 A & Us, including their spouses, seven of them made it to my book. I loved all of them, but these special seven were part of my life more than the others. I hope to honor the many by writing about the few.
